First Generation
It’s so heart breaking for me to see parents of foreign land come to the U.S. AKA the land of opportunity and struggle with multiple jobs to pay bills and such…just so their kids can live a better live than they did, but the kids are not taking advantage of it. I know a couple of people who are just working at ‘whatever’ jobs and are living paycheck to paycheck and not taking advantage of what they’re really capable of. I know that everyone has their own choice in life and lifestyle, but man…I personally cannot settle for mediocrity with the lifestyle I envision for myself.
And to those that are making something of themselves…my hat goes off to you. You’re doing your parents proud!
